“…but we all appreciate positive disruption. We need to learn to take note in the first few months of people raising their ideas, as they’re not ‘beaten into acceptance’ of things never going to change…”
How many times have you heard this? Seriously. Think about it. It’s not always put over the same way, but I’m sure we’ve all been told that our opinions and insights are valued; only to then be told in the next breath/by the next person/your manager that you won’t have enough/any influence so just accept it. It’s “out of your remit”. It’s “Out of Scope”.
So, how do we, the disruptive ones, get our appreciated view points across?
Thankfully, we like a challenge.
So, my question to you, dear reader, is this: How do you get your thoughts out into the wider sphere of influence?

I have written Word documents, got them reviewed by other team members, and then got someone else in authority to send it out. I’ve also demonstrated different ways to do things during Hackathons.
Had some success with our release manager tool. There are moves to fix it.
certainly like your website however you have to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I in finding it very troublesome to inform the truth however I will surely come again again.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. I’ve gone through my posts and not found any spelling mistakes. I will say though that I write in British English, not American English, so that might cause some confusion; or some of my spellings seeming peculiar.
